Chapter 9 - Twin-born Martial Souls (I)

"Oh." Soul ring, soul beast, these two brand new names kept echoing in Tang San's mind. Although he wasn't sure if his guess was correct, Xuan Tian Gong had been unable to break through the bottleneck, this soul ring was clearly a breakthrough. At this time, Jack had already returned to his senses, looking down at Tang San and saying in surprise, "Junior, you wouldn't be the kid with innate full soul power and the martial soul Blue Silver Grass that Grandmaster spoke of, would you." Tang San nodded, saying, "It's me." Old Jack squatted down and looked at Tang San face to face, "Junior, I didn't expect your talent to be this outstanding, but unfortunately, you have that kind of father who doesn't have a good martial soul to pass on to you. Otherwise, maybe you could really become the second Soul Saint in our village. You tell grandpa, are you willing to go to a specialized school to learn the cultivation methods of a Soul Master. Only there is the most accurate variety of knowledge about the martial soul." Tang San had already developed a strong interest in the martial soul at this point, especially since it was related to his own Xuan Tian Gong, but he still didn't reply directly in the affirmative, "Grandpa Jack, that's something I'll have to ask my dad about." Jack suddenly came to his senses, yes, a child is still a child even if he understands things, how can he say that he has to ask Tang Hao's opinion before doing so. A few determined glints appeared in his eyes, even though he really didn't want to meet that scruffy ghost, he couldn't care less about that for the sake of the village being able to produce another soul master. "Let's go, Junior, Grandpa will send you home." Old Jack dived back to the other children first, letting their parents lead them away before bringing Tang San back to the blacksmith store. In the morning, it was Tang Hao's routine bedtime, and the blacksmith store was quiet. "Tang Hao, Tang Hao." Old Jack didn't care if Tang Hao was sleeping or not, he really detested this scruffy blacksmith. If it wasn't for the fact that the agricultural tools he forged were very inexpensive, he would have wanted to kick Tang Hao out of the village long ago. While calling out to Tang Hao, Old Jack swept his eyes around, wanting to find a chair to sit down, but looking at the ragged things, he really didn't have the courage to pull one over. He wasn't getting any younger, and he didn't want to fall and break a tendon here. "Who's yelling." Tang Hao's slightly angry voice rang out as the curtains of the inner room lifted and he walked out slowly. He saw his son first, before he shifted his gaze to Jack, "Old Jack, what's going on?" Jack did not have the good sense to say, "Today is the day your son's martial soul awakens, don't you know how important it is? Everyone else's family is accompanied by their parents together, but you're good, you're still the same." As if he didn't hear Jack's sarcasm, Tang Hao's gaze once again looked at his son, "Junior, your martial soul has awakened? What is it?" Tang San said, "Dad, it's Blue Silver Grass." "Blue Silver Grass?" For some reason, when Tang Hao, who had never been too interested in any external objects, heard these three words, his body suddenly trembled, and a special light passed through his eyes. Tang Hao's change in expression was only noticed by Tang San, and Old Jack naturally didn't care how a scruffy blacksmith's expression looked like, directly saying, "Although it's Blue Silver Grass, Xiao San is an innate full soul power. Tang Hao, I've decided, that one work-study spot in the village this year will be given to Xiao San. Let him go to Nordin City Junior Soul Master Academy to study. The road fee is covered by the village." "Blue Silver Grass, Blue Silver Grass." Tang Hao mumbled a couple sentences, raised his head fiercely, a firm light Tang San had never seen before flowed from his eyes, and said in a deep voice, "No." "What did you say? I didn't hear it wrong." Jack pulled out his ears, looking at Tang Hao in surprise, "You should know how valuable this opportunity is, our Sacred Soul Village only has one quota a year even if we once produced a Soul Sage, other villages, even more so, two or three villages can only share one quota, do you know that? This is a good opportunity. Maybe, Junior will be able to become a human being in the future." Tang Hao gave Jack a cold look, "What's the use of being a man of the world? All I know is that if he's gone, there'll be no one to cook for me. Blue Silver Grass, what do you think a Blue Silver Grass martial soul can be cultivated into? That's just a waste martial soul." Old Jack angrily said, "But he is innate full soul power, as long as he can get a soul ring, even if it's the worst quality soul ring, he can immediately become a soul master. Soul master, do you know? Our village hasn't produced a soul master in many years." Tang Hao said indifferently, "That's your real purpose, isn't it? When you say no, you mean no. You can go now." "Tang-Hao..." The anger in Old Jack's chest had burned to the limit. Tang Hao still looked lazy, "No need to be so loud, I'm not deaf yet. I said, you can go now." "Grandpa Jack, don't be angry. I still won't go to learn the abilities of a soul master. Dad is right, Blue Silver Grass is just a waste of martial souls, thank you for your kindness." Although Jack extremely hated Tang Hao, he liked the understanding Tang San very much, his full rage gradually calmed down, and he let out a long sigh, "Good boy, grandpa isn't angry. Alright, grandpa is leaving." Saying this, he turned around and walked towards the outside. Tang San rushed to see him off. Dad could have ignored it, but Jack was the village chief and treated him well, he would never be less courteous. Jack walked to the entrance of the blacksmith store and stopped, turning to look at Tang Hao, saying in a serious tone, "Tang Hao, your life is over like this, but Xiao San is still young, don't you think you should give him a means to make a living? Don't hold him back, become a soul master, at least he won't be as down and out as you in the future. Come find me if you change your mind. There are still three months until the enrollment time for this year's Nordin Soul Master Junior Academy."
