Chapter X. No Need to Wait

In Qianye's senses, there was a strange space in the abdominal cavity where the Force was vaguely surging, as if a young butterfly wanted to break out of its cocoon. But this space was wrapped by an invisible barrier, which had to be broken through before the node could be ignited, allowing the Force inside and outside the body to merge here. The process of breaking the barrier was not the same for various gong methods. Most of them are relatively gentle, using a slow polishing method, the barrier will be thinner and thinner, and finally the water will be eliminated inside and outside, and become one. Some other techniques were more violent, guiding the internal and external tides against the barrier repeatedly. For example, this was the case with the Soldiering Technique, which drove the Force Tide to impact the barrier in a fierce and overbearing manner, and its strength was directly comparable to that of a first-rate technique. However, in the process of impacting the barrier, it would also shock the body's internal organs. Qianye was already able to activate a complete Force Tide very quickly, and his goal today was to try to impact the node barrier. He carefully guided the surging Force and rushed towards the abdominal node. A wave of Force gradually corrected its position and impacted on the node barrier. The node barrier was like a high embankment, keeping the waves of Force firmly outside. Qianye gradually immersed himself in it, and even the strange aroma of "Vermilion Blood" disappeared outside the sensory world. It was as if he had become one with the waves of the Force, thrown up high, as if the waves were really beating against the shore and violently bombarding the barrier, and then crumbled and turned into drops of Force water like pearls splashing jade. But the next wave would be even higher, and the impact would be even stronger. With each round of impact, the recoil of the Force caused Thousand Night's entire body to tremble slightly. During the process of the tidal wave of Force in his body impacting the nodes, the Force resonating in the outside world was also continuously replenishing the consumption of Thousand Nights. Just like this, his Force power gradually increased. I don't know how many times such a boring cycle had passed, but suddenly, after a round of Force Tidal Wave Impact ended, the raging Force didn't completely subside, but rather, after briefly retreated, it suddenly rose again with a new wave! Surprised and delighted, Qianye hurriedly concentrated on guiding this wave to rush towards the node barrier. When the wave rushed on the barrier, Thousand Nights' ears buzzed with the sound of rumbling water, and his body involuntarily shook so hard that he almost bounced off the spot. This was the first wave of the second round of Force Tide, superimposed with the aftermath of the first round, the impact had been comparable to the fourth or fifth wave of the first round. This was a successful beginning, as Qianye accumulated more Force, the second round of Force tides would also be generated, then the third round, and the fourth round. The more Force Tides that were generated consecutively, the stronger the power stacking would be, and the greater the impact on the Force Barrier. It was said that when the third round of Force Tide was generated, it was time to punch through the abdominal node. At this time, the bell rang, and Qianye gathered himself as usual and quickly exited the cultivation room. He had made a breakthrough in his homework this time, and there were a dozen or so happy faces among the children who practiced together. But Qianye didn't have much joy in his heart, his progress was still quite fast, and he could be ranked in the top third of this class. Now that it had been a little over half a year since the beginning of the Hyrule Warrior Decision class, it was rumored that some of the children in the other classes had already ignited their first Force Node. As usual, the children formed a line in the valley clearing, and Chen Lei somehow stood next to Qianye. As everyone ran towards the training ground under the instructor's leadership. Chen Lei suddenly leaned slightly closer to Thousand Nights and lowered his voice, ''I've already started cultivating the third round of Force Tide. When I ignite the Force Node, just watch out for me!" Thousand Nights looked straight ahead as if he hadn't heard anything. Next was a fighting class and a biological structure class. In the fighting class, Chiyo's opponent was an ordinary kid, and there was no hatred or friendship between the two sides. The result of the fight was a win or a loss for each of them, and then it was time for the biological structure class. However, this time the instructor for the class was changed to a bald, dry and thin old man with an unfamiliar face. He had a pair of cloudy gray eyes. Being swept by his gaze, Qianye suddenly felt as if he was being looked at inside and out and immediately shivered. The old man's eyes had originally swept over Thousand Nights, at this moment, his eyelids jumped and turned back to look at Thousand Nights one more time. In front of each student was a lab table with long strips covered with white cloth. The old man cleared his throat, his voice as rough and raspy as a crow's song, "Little ones! From this day on, I will turn you into true devils! As for my name, I don't think any of you will want to remember it. But in the next six months, this name will accompany you for a long, long time. My name is Shen--tu!" Shen Tu then spoke about his class record. It was simple, complete the task within the allotted time, as well as ...... no vomiting. "Alright! Now, lift up the white cloth in front of you and hold up this thing!" Shentu held up something that resembled a thin hook. Qianye stepped forward and lifted the white cloth of the lab table in front of him, and was shocked! Under the white cloth was a corpse, a cold corpse! But with a familiar face, Qianye remembered that this was a child who entered the training camp together with Qianye! The body in front of her had obviously been carefully preserved, and after almost a year had passed, it was still intact, with no signs of decay. In one corner of the lab table, there was a tray with dozens of differently shaped tools. The hook that Shen Tu picked up was one of them. On the high podium, there was also a corpse. Shen Tu inserted the hook into the chest area of the corpse, then pulled it up high, then used a sharp knife to slice a thin layer of the corpse's skin. Faced with this once-recognizable face, Qianye's heart was complicated and incomparable, how could he not lay his hands on it. Most of the children also looked as startled and confused as Chiyo. A few of the children, however, started to make a move, and some even had cruel sardonic smiles on their faces. One of the guards suddenly and loudly started counting down from ten. The children were all startled, this was a human timer they were all too familiar with! Knowing that whoever hadn't made a move by the end of the countdown would be punished. The punishment from Shentu might be even more vicious than Zhang Jing's! Including Qianye, all the children hurriedly grabbed their tools and started dissecting the corpse in the manner taught by Shentu. Qianye had just finished the required steps when he suddenly heard a wow from the side, a girl suddenly cried out, then squatted on the ground and desperately threw up, vomiting to the point of unconsciousness. Shen Tu stopped the action in his hands and quietly looked at the little girl who was vomiting furiously. All the children in the classroom were also watching, and for a while the silence was incomparable. Only after the little girl had finished vomiting and had cried almost as much did Shen Tu say with incomparable gentleness, "Take her down and clean up a bit." The two wolf-like guards carried the little girl away like a chicken, letting her cry and struggle. The lesson continued, the children were silent as they learned what Shen Tu had taught them. Only the old man's raspy voice echoed in the classroom. A week later, Shen Tu appeared in front of the children again. This was still an anatomy class, and the old man intended to spend three lessons on the vitals and weaknesses in human physiology. When Chiyo lifted the white cloth in front of him, he suddenly took a step back. On the counter in front of him was the corpse of that little girl! Qianye instantly understood what Shentu meant by tidying up a bit. Just then, he suddenly felt that Shen Tu's gaze was firmly fixed on him. Without looking up, without even shaking his hands, Qianye picked up the tweezers and thin bladed knife and started doing the required steps. This lesson, Qianye didn't know how it passed. This day, he didn't know how it passed either, and suddenly it was nighttime, and he was lying in bed as well. Slight whistles were already ringing out in the dormitory, most of the kids had already gone to sleep, but Chiyo couldn't sleep. The Yellow Springs Training Camp was indeed hell, and Chiyo didn't know how much longer he could hold out. However, he knew that if he could hold on, there was something in himself that would gradually be changed sooner or later. It had been a long time since Thousand Night remembered that blurry shadow from the beginning of his memory, and he thought he would forget about it, but now it flooded his mind, but he already had a premonition that some of his persistence would eventually be lost. The second face that surfaced was Shi Yan's mute face, but tried to pull out a smile, as if there was someone saying "come back alive" in his ear, Chiyo drifted off for a moment, the voice was not Shi Yan, but that person. Chiyo closed his eyes and when he opened them again, he was wide awake. Someone is waiting for him, someone gave him a promise, now he has understood the meaning of the family name "Lin". But all of this could not be realized until he was out of this hell. In this hell, there is only one chance, and if you don't seize it, you will lose it, so there is no waiting here. Chiyo suddenly leapt off the bed, landed on the ground noiselessly, and then used the sneaking technique he had learned from the fighting arts course to touch Chen Lei's bedside. It didn't seem to startle anyone. Chen Lei wasn't sleeping very well, and there was uneasiness on his face, wondering what he had dreamed. Slowly but surely, Chiyo reached out and snapped her hand towards his throat. Just then, a child in the bed next to him suddenly rolled over, opened his eyes, and saw Thousand Nights' movements. Qianye turned around and locked eyes with him, and the kid instantly shivered and hurriedly rolled back over, continuing to sleep, just pretending that he hadn't seen anything. Without any further hesitation, Qianye's left hand fell like electricity, clasping Chen Lei's throat in death, while simultaneously striking the side of his ribs with a full force punch! There was a sudden muffled thud in the dormitory, most of the kids immediately woke up, and many more instinctively leapt out of bed. The thuds continued on and on. Chen Lei's eyes were round and protruding out of their sockets, his face had swollen to a purple-black color, and his tongue was completely sticking out of his mouth. He desperately clawed and scratched, some of which fell short, while others landed hard on Thousand Nights' arms. However, Qianye's hand was like cast iron, not moving at all, as if it couldn't feel any pain at all. Instead, his right hand smashed his abdomen and the side of his ribs one by one in a constant manner. This scene was somewhat similar to the one where Chen Lei instructed his companions to beat up Thousand Nights, except that the two people behaved completely differently after being beaten. Chen Lei was clearly terrified and fought back without any sort of strategy, and could only be considered to be struggling in a panic. The strongest few in the class looked at Chen Lei's performance and secretly shook their heads, no longer placing this person in their hearts. However, the gazes they looked at Qianye were filled with wary fear. Thousand Nights kept beating Chen Lei painfully, yet his breathing barely changed, and he didn't even have much of an expression, as if he was doing something trivial and insignificant. A muffled sound was like a knock on every child's heart. Chen Lei finally stopped moving, only his body twitching instinctively. Thousand Nights stopped and returned to his own bed, pulling the covers over his head as if nothing had happened and continuing to sleep heavily. A few moments later, Chen Lei suddenly jumped out of bed, stumbled to the window, and called out mournfully, ''Instructor! Instructor! Someone is trying to kill me, help!"
