CHAPTER XI Is this ...... a friend

With a bang, the door to the dormitory was kicked open again, and Long Hai frowned as he walked in, coldly asking, "Who's ghosting?" Chen Lei struggled and ran towards Long Hai, like a frightened beast. Disgust flashed across Long Hai's face as he viciously whipped him to the ground and cursed, "Waste!" Only then did he use his toes to flip Chen Lei over. Chen Lei's clothes were already doughy and wrinkled and thin, his head and face were not damaged, but the purple-black pinch marks at his throat were clearly not normal. Long Hai wasn't interested in looking any further and raised his voice, bellowing, "Who did this?" Qianye sat up from the bed and calmly said, "It was me." Long Hai narrowed his eyes, looked Thousand Night up and down for a moment, and said, "Good, kid, you have guts! Come on people! Take him out, give him ten lashes, and hang him until tomorrow morning!" Thousand Nights didn't resist struggling or cowering, and just followed the guards out. It wasn't long before the familiar sound of a child's whip on flesh resounded outside the window. Each sound of whipping stirred up those dark memories in their hearts, and many of the children's faces became unnatural. But there was only the sound of whipping outside the window, but no sound of a thousand nights. There were no screams, no moans, not even muffled grunts, as if what the guards were whipping was just a piece of wood. Long Hai had already left, but Chen Lei was suddenly paralyzed on the ground, unable to get up. Chen Lei just received that whip is not light, the injury can be said to be worse, without a month, do not want to heal. The gazes of the surrounding children at him were already full of sarcasm and disdain. Now anyone can see that the somewhat thin and weak Qianye is the real ruthless person. Chen Lei wanted to establish his authority, but unfortunately, he had chosen the wrong target, and it was a big mistake. "Sleep well!" The kid who ranked first in the class in terms of strength came with a meaningful comment. Early the next morning, when Chiyo, who had been hanging all night, was put down, he was already so weak that he could barely stand. But he hobbled to keep up with the morning running group. Although the other children ran three laps in the time it took Chiyo to move only one, he ended up completing all of his training, though it took up most of the breakfast time behind him. By the time he went to sleep at night, Chiyo had only completed half of the scheduled training for the entire day, and would undoubtedly finish at the bottom of the list. However, it was as if the entire dormitory had suddenly forgotten about this matter collectively, and no one mentioned even a single word about it. In the past, any child who was beaten ten times would have to stay in bed for the next few days, and no one would play hard to get like Chiyo. Every movement would pull on the whip marks and produce severe pain. So in the past, children who received ten lashes would give up, and wouldn't even get a single bit of training, let alone half of it. It was late at night, and the children were all going to bed one after another. Chen Lei suddenly flung himself down on his knees in front of Qianye, hugged Qianye's thighs, and began to cry out for mercy. Thousand Nights looked at Chen Lei for a moment, then slowly but firmly pushed him away, climbed into his own bed, and went to sleep. All the children were asleep, except for Chen Lei. He stood on the floor, his fists clenching and unclenching for a moment, his face full of struggle. Thousand Nights had been whipped, and Chen Lei had also suffered internal injuries. Although killing Thousand Nights was the easiest thing to do at this time, what Chen Lei was afraid of was the punishment after getting his hands on him. However, perhaps deep down there was another fear that he was unwilling to admit, could he beat the Thousand Nights in his current state? This week, Chanyeu's training results unsurprisingly fell out of the top half. But on the way to the training room, the top ranked kid in the class suddenly walked up to Qianye and handed over a piece of "Zhu Yan Blood". "I have four pieces of this, I can't really use that many." He said. As the number one on the achievement list, this kid had always had extra preferential treatment. Qianye looked at him with surprise, and after thinking about it, he graciously took it, then extended his hand and said, "My name is Qianye." The boy smiled, "My name is Song Zining." The two children's hands clasped together, reacquainting themselves with each other. Though they had known each other's names for a long time. This week, Song Zining would give Qianye a piece of Vermilion Blood every day until the weekend, when Qianye returned to the top half of the list and had her own quota of Vermilion Blood. Other than that, Song Zining and Qianye didn't have much interaction, and didn't even speak a few words. In the tenth month, Qianye finally cultivated three rounds of Force Tides and began to fully impact the node barrier. And two months ago, Song Zining had already ignited the Force Node. At this point, Qianye realized that when the tides of the Force were stacked to three rounds, the recoil was already double that of the first round, and each wave triggered intense pain in the body when it bounced back. As this trend progressed, it was estimated that by the tenth round of the Force Tide, the pain would become similar to a whipping. By that time, I don't know how many people would still be able to persevere. No wonder there were so few who could refine the Soldier's Fault Technique to an advanced level. Not only was it because it would injure oneself, but also the pain during the cultivation process wasn't something that many people could endure. And for Qianye, there was an additional layer of trouble, whenever the waves of Force crossed his chest, the old injury would faintly ache. At eleven months, Thousand Nights finally broke through the barrier! The moment the barrier shattered, his Force surged into the node like a tidal wave, and the node seemed to have suction, drawing in the surrounding Force like a whale, and the rate of increase in Force directly doubled from before. When the Force gathered to the extreme, in the depths of the node there was a little light appeared, jumping like a candle flame in the wind. This was the sign of the ignition of the Force node. The current Thousand Nights had finally stepped into the ranks of a level one combat soldier, and was henceforth different from civilians. After the instructors confirmed that Qianye's Force Node had ignited, there was one more item in Qianye's rationed supplies. This pill with a dark brown color was said to be good for repairing internal organ injuries, and was an auxiliary medication for cultivating the Soldier's Vitality Technique. For the next month, Qianye slowed down his cultivation progress as required, controlling the flow of the tides of the Force, repeatedly flushing and warming up against the nodes, and refining them in a thousand ways, making the fusion of the internal and external Force more natural and complete. However, his Force was still rapidly increasing, and with the growth of the Force, all of Qianye's physical qualities had also dramatically improved. Although he was still just a child of less than ten years old, he was already able to lift fifty kilograms of weight with one hand. After Qianye, one after another, there were children igniting nodes. By the one-year time limit set by Zhang Jing, most of the sixty-odd children left in the class had ignited their Force nodes, but there were also three children who were unsuccessful. After the acceptance test, Qianye never saw them again. Just like this, the second year of the training camp passed without realizing it. The class Qianye was in was filled with another hundred people. In the third year, Qianye would be ten years old. Starting from this year, he would officially impact the second Force Node, which was also the node in front of his chest. This node was very important among the nine Force nodes, second in importance only to the node in the forehead. In many gong methods, this place was known as the sea of qi, directly determining the depth of the Force one could cultivate in the future. After completing the warming process of the first node, Qianye calmed his mind and formally began to impact the second Force node. The surging Force grew into waves and rushed towards the chest node. But just as the surging Force traveled through the wound area, an indescribably intense pain suddenly struck! This kind of intense pain was completely beyond the range of what a human could endure! Thousand Nights cried out and directly fell to the ground, twitching non-stop, blood foaming from the corners of his mouth, and in the blink of an eye, he had already fainted. The guards heard the screams and immediately rushed into Thousand Night's cultivation room, they were also stunned when they saw his strange condition, then quickly carried Thousand Night away. A few moments later, in the room where he usually took his biological structure class, Chiyo was completely naked, lying on the metal teaching platform. There was no extra infirmary or anything like that in the training camp. Only Zhang Jing and Long Hai were present, and Shade was left outside to stop the others. In front of the teaching platform, Shen Tu's movements were unhurried and unhurried, just like a usual class demonstration, using various tools to open three very tiny holes in Qianye's chest scars. After a few moments, the old man stopped his hands, then slowly and methodically organized all the tools. He didn't look at the still sleeping Qianye, but instead turned his gaze to Zhang Jing and Long Hai, "You guys have been his instructors for so long, you wouldn't have failed to see ......" Long Hai's face became a bit unnatural. Zhang Jing, however, suddenly smiled charmingly and said carelessly, "Isn't it just Force Plunder?" Long Hai's face became even more ugly, while the corners of Shen Tu's mouth twitched a few times. In fact, Zhang Jing's smile was also a bit unnatural. Just then, the door to the classroom was suddenly pushed open, and a man strided in and said, "That's right, it's Force Plunder." Shadow followed him. Several people turned around in surprise, and were even more surprised when they saw the visitor. "Director Sun!" The one who came in was a middle-aged man, slightly shorter and very solidly born. He had a mediocre Chinese character face, his features were extremely ordinary, and at first glance there was nothing that could make people remember. This was Sun Ni, the training camp's director of instruction, wearing an old military uniform that had been washed and faded a bit, with no rank on it. Sun Ni walked to Qianye's body, reached out and stroked his hand over the scar on his chest, his hand glowed with a misty Force light, and after a moment he withdrew his hand and sighed, ''It's really like this! This child, it's really a pity." Zhang Jing was sensitive to what was going on, "This is someone sent by Marshal Lin, is there a problem?" "What do you guys say?" Sun Ni faintly asked back. Long Hai was the one who handed him over in the first place and said first, "Although the person was sent from Marshal Lin's side, he didn't make any special deliveries or even say that he would be kept alive. I heard that he was just an orphan picked up by Marshal Lin on a whim. If there really is something wrong with his origin ......" Shentu's raspy voice was even lower, with a kind of gloomy feeling, "Those who have the ability to do such a thing are none other than those few families, but how could those people leave behind a living soul? It's inevitably a bit odd." Sun Ni smiled meaningfully and said slowly, "I know about this news, in fact, other people also know about it. In other words, those who should know already know."
